It could be Franky...It could be fresh and clean

For any music folks in New York, here's two exciting programs about minimalist composer Philip Glass's seminal work Einstein on the Beach at the New York Public Library. Opera meets video preservation.

n.b.: For more on why video preservation is such a problem, check out what's left of my video preservation blog, A Study in Preserving Moving Images. (clue: It's magnetic tape)

In the mid 70's there was a radio show on am frequency in Long Island, NY. It involved 2 women, Cindy and Cheryl. It starts off with them walking in the garden with Cheryl saying:

"Hi Cindy how are you? Cheryl: OK Cindy:Would you like to take a walk in the garden? Cherly: Alright.
And you here them walking. click, cilck, click....
They keep repeating the same things over and over such as:
(shouting) She broke her neck! That's not what I did! Oh, you were.. were they were they, uh, I know.
Have you been here before? No this is the first time. Have you been here before? No this is the first time. I have never handled a probate case before but someday you must. Oh you have a smudge on your collar"

Does anyone recall hearing this or knows anything about this radio show? PLEASE email me me..
Thanks, Jane
